Why Pre-Apply?

Full applications for teacher training courses are ultimately made via the Department for Education (DfE) website. However, the process can be rather daunting, as you are required to provide a great deal of information, including:

> Full details of your qualifications: GCSEs, A-Levels & Degree(s) or their equivalents, including dates and grades.
> Full work experience, with details & dates of all paid/unpaid jobs you have had since leaving school, including gaps in work history, e.g. due to illness, unemployment, raising a family, etc.
> Your Personal Statement of 500-1000 words.

> Provision of two personal references.

> Reponses to questions about interview availability, safeguarding, equality, diversity and more.

We therefore ask potential applicants to start by taking just 2 minutes to complete our short, simple Pre-Application Form (below) so we can contact you as early as possible in the process. Many of our successful applicants have found this to be a very valuable stepping stone, as we can help you fully understand your options, answer any questions you may have (e.g. as to whether you would qualify for a bursary of up to £29,000 or scholarship of up to £31,000) and provide you with guidance and support through the full application process should you choose to proceed.

Please rest assured that your completion of our Pre-Application Form does not in any way commit you to joining an i2i Teaching Partnership course, and that the information you provide and any discussions we have, will of course be in complete confidence.

Update 24th March 2025: We are particularly keen to hear from candidates interested in training to teach Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Geography. Please also note that places are limited and we have already accepted a high number of applicants for the 2025/2026 programme, so don't delay, pre-apply today.
