The i2i Teaching Partnership is an Ofsted Outstanding school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) provider with training centres in Farnham, Basingstoke, Reigate, Hedge End & Shepperton, and over 70 partner schools in Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire & SW London
SECONDARY TEACHER TRAINING
Our one year Secondary Teacher Training programmes offers a blend of practical and pedagogical learning. Fully supported by an experienced mentor, you will spend 3-4 days/week in the classroom at your placement school and 1-2 days/week in your preferred training centre.
QTS & PGCE QUALIFICATIONS
i2i Teaching Partnership secondary school teacher training courses run for one full school year and lead to the award of both QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and, through our partnership with Bath Spa University, Masters-level PCGE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) qualifications.
Update 1st May 2025: We welcome applicants for all subject courses, but we are particularly keen to train more to teach Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Geography. Please also note that places are limited and we have already accepted a high number of applicants for the 2025/2026 programme, so don't delay, pre-apply today.

We work with a network of over 70 schools across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and West London to deliver our highly supportive, school-based teacher training programme, leading to both QTS and Master-Level PGCE qualifications for aspiring secondary school teachers.
With training centres in Farnham, Basingstoke, Hedge End/Southampton, Reigate and Shepperton, our accessible and supportive programme is led by experienced and knowledgeable teachers and leaders who have a passion for delivering innovative and inspiring training. Our trainees develop into confident and competent professionals, equipped with the skills, knowledge and experience to become the best teachers they can possibly be.
Bursaries & Scholarships for 2025/26 Courses
For the 2025/26 secondary teacher training courses, teacher training Bursaries of up to £29,000 or Scholarships of up to £31,000 are available for qualifying applicants. Click below for further details
